The Havre de Grace boys volleyball squad won its Wednesday road engagement with Harford Tech 3-1.

The Warriors took the first game handily, 25-6, and wrapped up the match’s second contest 25-16. After Harford Tech won the third game 25-15, Havre de Grace wrapped things up with a 25-17 victory.

David Beck led the winners with 17 kills and seven aces, while Tyler Cook had a match-high 29 assists. Mason Casner posted nine kills in the victory.

In Monday’s boys match between Havre de Grace and Bel Air, the host-team Warriors topped their guests in three straight games.

Havre de Grace started with a 25-11 victory, and took the next two games 25-18.

Beck led the winners with 13 kills and six aces, while Casner contributed five aces. Cook had 17 assists for Havre de Grace.

Bel Air’s Tyler Norcross had a match-best 14 kills, while teammate Danny Fleagle had four aces and four kills. Kyle Johnson notched 20 assists in the loss.
