Several people were transported by Medevac helicopter from Harford County to regional trauma centers in the past week week
Aberdeen business
An Aberdeen worker was injured and transported for medical attention on Sunday.
Around 6:40 p.m. there was a call for a Medevac in the 800 block of Hickory Drive in Aberdeen. The individual was working at the Frito Lay warehouse when the worker sliced his fingertips off, according to information provided by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
Aberdeen Police and Fire Departments responded to the incident. The Medevac request was canceled and the individual was transported by Aberdeen ambulance; no further information was available.
Edgewood equipment
Medevac assistance was required in Edgewood Wednesday after equipment fell on a worker.
Around 2:30 p.m., emergency personnel responded to AGCO in the 1700 block of Trimble Road after an accident at the business. AGCO produces and distributes agricultural equipment.
Perry Sean, 32, of Abingdon, was securing a hay tedder to a tractor when a 4500 pound piece of equipment fell on top of him.
I-95 Car Accident
One person was flown out after an accident on I-95 around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The north bound ramp at exit 77 was closed and all traffic was temporarily halted for Medevac landing.
