With the recent rainy weather, the girls high school lacrosse schedule has been hampered just a bit.

Havre de Grace had yet to take to the field as of Thursday morning after its season opener with Edgewood was postponed Monday by the damp weather.

The game has been rescheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. in Havre de Grace.

Eagles fall on road

Aberdeen dropped a road contest March 25, losing at North East, 15-11.

Monica Ashton scored three goals to pace the Eagles’ scoring, while Megan Lutrey and Andrea Siedlarczyk netted two apiece. Single goals were scored by Emily Whittie, Rachel Keeley, Julie Shetterly and Lucy Daghir.

Amanda Willard dished out three assists and Siedlarczyk added two. Keeley and Daghir had one assist each.

Aberdeen keeper Desiree Vann had eight saves.

Panthers get first win

Perryville picked up its first win March 25, beating host Elkton, 18-14.

Brittany Benser and Alex Montgomery each scored five goals to pace the Panthers, while Benser also had one assist and Montgomery had seven assists.

Savannah Fox added three goals and Hannah Wein had two goals and one assist.

Emily Alexander, Katie Clelland and Ashley Montanez also had a goal apiece.

Panther goalie Alison Watson made 10 saves in the win.

The Panthers scored 11 goals in the first half.
