Patterson Mill took another step toward the UCBAC Susquehanna Division girls volleyball title on Tuesday defeating visiting Bo Manor, 3-0.
The Huskies won by scores of 25-12, 25-10 and 25-20.
Caitlin Herman led the way with 10 kills, one ace and one block, while Monica Negron finished with 15 assists. Haley Jarczynski added six kills, two blocks and two aces and Katie Allen had seven kills and three digs. Rachel Jirsa rounded out the Huskies efforts with nine aces and five digs.
The win boosted the Huskies record to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in division play.
Mustangs trip Bobcats
Visiting C. Milton Wright defeated Bel Air in four games, keeping the Bobcats winless in Chesapeake Division play.
The Mustangs won the first two games, 25-19 and 25-21, while Bel Air claimed game three, 25-12. CMW then closed out the match with a 25-10 win in game four.
Ashley Dorsey had 12 aces and Kayla Trimble had 13 kills to lead the Mustangs. Erica Kline added nine kills and Stephany Staniforth had seven aces and 12 assists.
Leading Bel Air were Kaitlyn Masters, eight kills, two aces; Megan Owensby, three kills; Kelly Creswell, three kills; Kat Murphy, three kills, one ace; Laura Stenger, three kills, one block, five aces; Laura Bennedsen, one kill, one ace; and Abby Stevens, one kill and one ace.
Cougars sweep Indians
Fallston got back in the win column Tuesday with a 3-0 road win at North East. The Cougars won the Chesapeake match-up by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-12.
Erika Schmidt had a big night with 31 assists and 11 points, while Rachael Holehouse had 15 kills, eight digs and three aces.
Maddie Ford added seven kills and 11 points and Caroline Shotto had 19 digs.
Warriors blank Hawks
Havre de Grace notched a Chesapeake win Wednesday evening, beating host North Harford, 3-0. The scores were 25-12, 25-23 and 25-19.
Megan Appold led the way with three kills, six digs, 29 perfect passes, 12 points and five aces, while Ashley Crowe added six kills and 14 points.
Brooke Foley finished with 15 kills and 23 perfect passes and Alex Smith had 22 assists. Also for the Warriors, Maddie Hewitt had 36 perfect passes and six digs and Jade McDonnell added four points.
HCS wins on road
Harford Christian posted a win Tuesday, beating host Arlington Christian School, 3-1. The Eagles dropped the first game, 22-25, but won the next three, 25-10, 25-12 and 25-16.
Leading the Eagles were Courtney Grant, three kills and one tip point; Jasmine Crank, four aces; and Amber Guetler, six aces.
Mariners top Cobras
Visiting Joppatowne needed four games to get past Harford Tech on Tuesday, 3-1.
The Mariners took game one, 26-24, while Tech evened the match with a 25-16 win in game two. Joppatowne then won the next two games, 27-25 and 25-18, for the Susquehanna win.
Rams beat Eagles
Edgewood picked up a Susquehanna victory Tuesday as well, 3-1, at Aberdeen.
The Rams won 25-11 and 25-18 in the first two games, but Aberdeen avoided the sweep with a 25-19 win in game three. Edgewood won game four, 27-25.
