The Bel Air Bobcats boys volleyball squad fought to a three-games-to-two, road-game victory over the Aberdeen Eagles on Wednesday.
Bel Air won the first two games, 25-21 and 25-15, but Aberdeen refused to go down, answering with 25-13 and 25-21 wins to tie the match. A 15-13 victory in the fifth game earned Bel Air the win.
Zach Nadolny posted a season-best performance with 15 kills and two aces in the victory, while teammate Aaron Farley had six kills and one ace. Aaron Spencer had five aces and three kills for Bel Air, while Kyle Johnson notched 33 assists.
Warriors sweep
The Havre de Grace boys squad continued its unbeaten streak with a straight-games victory over the visiting North Harford Hawks on Wednesday.
Havre de Grace is now 7-0 on the year.
The Warriors’ winning scores on Wednesday were 25-15, 25-11 and 25-14.
Havre de Grace’s John Beck recorded 19 kills, while Jonathan Stetina led the winning side with 20 assists. Mason Casner picked up 10 kills, while fellow Warrior David Beck served up four aces.
Huskies win
The Patterson Mill Huskies topped the visiting Harford Tech squad three games to zero on Wednesday.
The Huskies won with scores of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-21.
