The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region announces Colleen Helmlinger, Don Miller, Tony Corea and Glenn Gustafsson have joined the Arc’s Foundation Board.
Helmlinger is a shareholder with Gessner, Snee, Mahoney & Lutche P.A. and is experienced in corporate, business, real estate and commercial finance law. A former graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Helmlinger is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Harford County Bar Association, Harford County Pro Bono Committee and the Women’s Bar Association/Baltimore Women’s Bar. She lives in Bel Air with her husband, Walt, and two children, Alex and Katie.
Miller is a director with the accounting firm of Ellin & Tucker Chartered, providing audit, tax, accounting and consulting services for clients in the not-for-profit, manufacturing, retail and wholesale, professional services and other industries. He is a certified public accountant in Maryland and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Maryland Association of CPAs. He has a bachelor of science degree in economics from Towson University and a master of finance degree from Loyola College. He lives in Harford County with his wife, Amy, and two children, Alex and Emily.
Corea is a sales executive with Justin Retirement in Lutherville, an independent financial services firm, specializing in retirement solutions for both large companies and individuals and their families. A graduate of Salisbury University, Corea’s professional experiences included sales executive for Crawford Advisors, vice president of securities for Brown Advisory and sales associate for D.B. Alex Brown & Sons. He lives in Bel Air with his wife and two children.
Gustafsson graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor of business degree in finance. He started his career with Travelers Insurance Company as a commercial underwriter. He spent 17 years in various job capacities that led him to the Baltimore area with the Maryland Casualty Insurance Company.
His professional experiences include development of 63 franchises for Quiznos Subs and operation of a consulting company affiliated with The Small Business Development Center at Harford Community College. Gustafsson and his wife, Donna, are owners of the first Rapid Refill Ink Franchise in Maryland, partners of Beyond Fit, a personal training, nutrition and educational studio in Fallston, as well as Dryer Vent Wizard. In his spare time, Gustafsson has volunteered as a high school baseball coach and is the junior varsity baseball coach at John Carroll School in Bel Air. Gustafsson is also a board member for the Small Business Development Center. He and his wife live in Bel Air and have two children, Eric and Brett.
The Arc offers a wide variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Harford, Cecil and Kent counties, both children and adults, to make informed choices with their lifestyles, vocations, education and recreational pursuits, and to assure stable and nurturing lives among their families and friends.
