It’s a true Cinderella story for Amy Luchy.
The Bel Air actress started her stage career at age 7 as an orphan in Phoenix Festival Theater’s “Gypsy.”
As a fifth grader, she played Baby Louise in PFT’s “Gypsy,” and two years ago, she portrayed Gypsy Rose Lee, the grown-up Louise, in its production.
From May 13 to 22, she will star as the glass-slippered lead in “Cinderella,” the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, staged at Dundalk Community Theatre.
Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday in the John E. Ravekes Theatre, K Building on the campus of the Community College of Baltimore County, Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road.
Tickets are $14 to $22. A Saturday matinee May 21 features two tickets for $25, with a Princess Boutique and Prince Knighting event starting at 12:30 p.m. with actors from the show.
For tickets, call 443-840-2787 or visit www.ccbcmd.edu/performingarts/dct.html.
